Dive Brief:
- Cybersecurity platform provider SentinelOne added new certifications spanning implementation for endpoint and identity, AI data pipelines and AI security information and event management to its partner program, the company announced at its annual cybersecurity conference on Wednesday. Resellers and managed service providers can complete online training for certification in SentinelOne deployments.
- SentinelOne partners also gain early access to a detection and response tool that monitors agentic AI activity, according to the announcement. LevelBlue, GuidePoint Security and World Wide Technology are launch partners in the expanded program.
- “AI is a priority investment area for almost every organization on the planet,” Bryce Grow, SVP of global channel and MSP at SentinelOne, told Channel Dive via email. “From a productivity driver to new questions on governance to a new attack surface that needs to be defended, nobody is better positioned to capture this demand than the channel. That spans resale and integration partners, managed service providers and solutions integrators.”
Dive Insight:
Earlier this week, SentinelOne announced a joint effort with PC vendor Lenovo to bring AI security capabilities to the ThinkShield security portfolio. The cybersecurity provider is focusing on meeting accelerated demand for AI cybersecurity services.
“Technology has caught up with the demand,” Grow said. “Customers are asking where their AI agents are, what they’re doing and how to catch bad behavior fast. Security teams are also getting hit with more AI-assisted attacks than they have staff to handle. Partners can and will now deliver more value and faster time to value for our shared customers against these threats.”
SentinelOne is also giving MSPs and resellers access to its ASOC Data Strategy Assessment Service. The feature gives partners data security guidance, per the announcement.
“Every enterprise is racing to put AI to work, and attackers are racing right alongside them. As a launch partner for SentinelOne’s AI Security Services, WWT is helping customers turn AI security from a growing concern into an operational capability, bringing together the expertise, technology, and services needed to innovate securely and at scale,” Jill Cochrane, VP and GM of global security consulting at WWT, said in the press release.
Certified partners have access to pricing guides, contract templates and deployment playbooks to launch SentinelOne’s AI and cybersecurity services.
“We want partners to build durable, high-growth AI security practices that cover more surfaces for each customer,” Grow said. “They can do that by moving from selling a product on one surface to delivering security outcomes across the whole environment. With autonomous investigation and one platform to orchestrate it, they can connect to a customer’s environment, start running investigations, and expand from there. That’s a much bigger opportunity for them than a single-surface deal.”
