Channel partners deploying zero-trust and segmentation technologies are gaining a new tool to help them visualize internal network activity and contain attacks more quickly.
Zero Networks on Wednesday introduced Network Map 2.0, a real-time network visibility capability designed to help partners deliver faster security outcomes while reducing the operational overhead traditionally associated with microsegmentation.
The product release comes as the company amplified its 100% channel-first go-to-market strategy. The new capability is designed to simplify deployment and accelerate time-to-value for partners delivering segmentation and Zero Trust projects, the company said.
“From a partner perspective, the core takeaway is that this release continues to make it easier for partners to deliver strong security outcomes for customers without the heavy operational lift that traditionally comes with segmentation and internal firewall management,” Adam Hofeler, VP of GTM at Zero Networks, told Channel Dive.
Real-time visibility replaces static network maps
Network Map 2.0 replaces traditional static diagrams and point-in-time flow analysis with what the company describes as a continuously updated “living map” of enterprise network activity. The platform ingests and correlates traffic in real time across on-premises infrastructure, cloud environments, IoT/OT systems and Kubernetes clusters.
For partners, Hofeler said the focus is on reducing complexity around microsegmentation deployments — historically one of the biggest barriers to adoption.
“What partners tend to value most is speed to deployment and time to value. With Zero Networks, partners can help customers rapidly reduce lateral movement risk and contain attacks without lengthy architecture projects or large professional services engagements,” he said.
The company said the platform continuously normalizes and deduplicates network activity to show which assets are communicating, which access paths introduce risk and how far a security incident could spread.
Network Map 2.0 highlights privileged access, high-risk ports, external exposure and anomalous communication paths, helping security teams prioritize threats that materially increase business risk rather than sifting through raw telemetry.
Security teams can also generate segmentation policies based on live traffic patterns and simulate enforcement before deployment to avoid disrupting business operations.
During incidents, SOC and response teams can visualize potential lateral movement paths and the likely blast radius of an attack, allowing them to quarantine affected systems more quickly.
The platform also provides graphical validation of asset-to-asset communication and documentation intended for executives and auditors to demonstrate application isolation and Zero Trust enforcement.
Channel strategy drives product momentum
The product rollout aligns with broader changes to the company’s Zero to Sixty partner program, which was updated last month to support the firm’s shift to a channel-led growth model.
Company execs said the program tweaks are intended to make it easier for partners to deliver containment and identity-based segmentation capabilities without the operational complexity traditionally associated with microsegmentation projects.
They include a new tiering structure designed to reward partner investment and performance with greater margin opportunities. The revamped program also introduces updated discounting and deal-registration processes to reduce friction and ensure partners maintain price protection across deals of different sizes.
In addition, the company created new technical and sales training tracks, self-service resources and a modernized partner portal that provides improved visibility into deal registration, certification progress and partner performance metrics.
Helping partners deliver faster security outcomes
Pointing to the latest product release, Hofeler said automation within the platform changes the type of services partners can offer customers.
“Because the platform automates much of the segmentation and policy enforcement work, partners can focus more on advisory services, security architecture, and broader risk reduction rather than manual rule management,” he said.
“Combined with the recent updates to the partner program, the goal is to give partners a simpler way to bring high-impact security capabilities to customers while creating services and expansion opportunities around deployment, optimization, and long-term resilience initiatives.”
Zero Networks has reported 45% year-over-year growth in MSP partnerships, while continuing to expand relationships with large North American partners, including Presidio, Optiv, GuidePoint Security, Trace3, SHI International, AHEAD and World Wide Technology.
